In 1990 I met my first Old English Sheepdog Miss Meggie May who shared my life for 14
1/2 years. She was my constant companion and in all that time I missed only 1 week of
her life being away from her. She gave me my first litter of puppies. So began my love
affair with Old English Sheepdogs.
OES are the clowns of the dog world with their smiling faces and playful antics. They will
dream up games and then teach them to you. They never quite realize they are dogs
and are forever a little kid. What they can learn is unlimited. They actually can process
thoughts and figure out solutions. They are ALWAYS happy to see you even if you went
out the door 5 minutes ago and came back in. Our puppies have saved their people
lives from Carbon Monoxide, house fires, and grief. They visit nursing homes, read with
children at school, teach fire prevention and live with special needs children. We are
VERY proud of all our puppies and the wonderful people they live with.
We live on top of a hill here in Iowa with a view down 4 valleys. It is beautiful here no
matter the time of year. All our dogs live with us indoors and we have a nursery where
our puppies are born. I have stayed up all night many times greeting puppies into the
world and am the first human they see when their eyes open at 2 weeks old.
We feed Purina Pro Plan chicken and rice for puppies. Their mama is on this food from
conception on through weening the puppies. Our puppies have never had allergies or
conic health issues and I believe this food helps insure this.
We raise happy healthy puppies who know the word KISSIES when they leave us.
Nobody does it better! Our dogs are loved and we are told it shows. You are welcome to
visit us. We will leave a light on for you.
